La Jolie Ronde

A set of Reading books aimed specifically at children learning from the Les Adventures de Minou et Trottine or Salut Céline et Antoine parts of the La Jolie Ronde Structured course, but suitable for primary school children of any age being introduced to the French language.

Written by Joan Boothroyd, with lovely illustrations by French artist Maryvonne Espinasse, these books use vocabulary which is taught within the La Jolie Ronde structured course, giving children confidence to read in French using words they know.

There are 10 books in the set as follows: 1 - La famille Martel et l'autobus rouge, 2 - Monsieur Martel va à la plage, 3 - Madame Martel dans le jardin, 4 - Philippe Martel et le petit avion bleu, 5 - Marianne Martel et les cinq crayons, 6 - Monsieur Pépin et le moulin, 7 - Pierre et le chat Victor, 8 - Où est Monique?, 9 - Le beau papillon, 10 - Le petit lapin.
